Art Forensics AFv2 MINT COMP-V1

Released: 4th November 2026

Keras360 Comparative-V1, also known as COMP-V1, was initially developed to analyze the distinctions between two images. Images must be supplied by the analyst or user, thereby facilitating expedited authentication when the attributes of the authentic item are thoroughly documented. This protocol effectively eliminates the necessity of establishing and constructing a data library, which may prove to be taxing for individuals who require the authentication tool for only a limited duration. Furthermore, it diminishes the reliance on Keras360 for the comprehensive acquisition and analysis of all images globally.

While the analytical blueprint design for cloud-dependent search remains applicable, COMP-V1 holds significant utility in the mint industry. For individuals collecting vintage or special edition banknotes or coins, this tool may also prove to be advantageous.

The video presented on this page consists of two segments:
1) the authentication of two genuine banknotes that display subtle discrepancies in their printing;
2) a comparison between a legitimate banknote and a counterfeit. For the mint industry, it is essential to establish medium detection sensitivity to effectively differentiate between authentic and fraudulent notes.

Video 1: Authenticating banknotes.

In this video, the initial example showcases segments of two genuine RMB 20 Chinese yuan banknotes produced in different years, while the subsequent example contrasts a printed counterfeit with an authentic RM 50 Ringgit banknote. To ensure an optimal visual experience, kindly allow the video to complete its buffering process.
