Part of the job application process
1) Submit a one-page cover letter
2) CV : For candidates without a publication ( one-page); For professionals (up to five pages)
3) Portfolios : Infograph, video clips, annual reports, etc.
If you possess the appropriate expertise, you will be invited to participate in an interview. In the case of analytical roles, a sample question is provided to help you prepare for the types of daily tasks that require solutions.
Keras360.io Analytical Interview Questions (I & II)
List down the assumptions, objective, analytical packages and data source that will be helpful for your analysis. You may write the analytical syntax in a simulation format.
Scenario I
The subsequent text message necessitates the application of an encryption protocol. Please elucidate the requisite steps for the encryption and decryption of the text message. It is crucial that the established protocol is reproducible.
“Eighty percent of diabetic patients exhibited a favorable response to Drug T. Although Drug S is associated with minimal adverse events, it is considerably more costly than Drug T, being nearly 2.5 times its price. I would advocate for the implementation of step-therapy in diabetic treatment.”
The methodology employed for the completion of this task encompasses a comprehensive analysis and application of programming languages such as Python, R, or C syntax.
Difficulty level: This task is designed for individuals who possess a pre-university or university degree in disciplines such as computational science, cyber security, mathematics, and/or physics.
Hint_: There are no restrictions on the correctness of responses.
Scenario II
Organs represent invaluable elements for life-saving interventions, and the establishment of a waiting list has become an essential medical protocol to ensure that organs are allocated to patients who present a higher probability of survival along with a reduced risk of graft rejection and graft failure. Nevertheless, elderly patients often endure multiple comorbidities, including cardiac, renal, and pulmonary conditions. A surgical team has recently identified that patients over the age of 65, who are at end-stage renal failure and receive renal transplants, are likely to exhibit lower survival rates. Surgeons reckon that this observed transplantation failure is primarily attributed to compromised cardiac function or cardiac failure, which may ultimately result in mortality.
There are two parts to be completed:
1) Design a study to illustrate and substantiate the hypothesis proposed by the surgical team.
2) Design a study aimed at improving the survival rates of transplant patients and grafts.
Please describe the approach you would use for this task and provide Python or R codes for the analytical procedures. You may simulate a data and list the steps to complete the tasks.
Difficulty level: This task is suitable for individuals with a PhD/ MD / MSc in Biomedical Science, Clinical Epidemiology and Clinical Medicine.
