A CALCULATOR WITH PRECISION FOR DISEASE PREVALENCE RATES

The demonstrations on Keras360 水の家 (The Waterhouse) website are showcased with captivating visuals and informative content. However, background noise may inadvertently obscure the clarity of the information. In this presentation, Keras360 highlights the practical use of US population data, with a special emphasis on estimating hearing loss in the aging population.

Age-related hearing loss is a significant comorbidity in many developed countries, and the use of hearing aids should be promoted among the elderly as a preventative measure against neurodegenerative diseases. Our estimates may appear more significant than typical reports because they are based on actual reported figures. A patient who does not report or acknowledge the need for a hearing aid is not counted as a case. Moreover, since most people have two ears—left and right—partial or temporary hearing loss is also included in these calculations. Thus, we use the term ‘precise’ calculator, which accounts for all reported cases and those at risk due to their age.
